After bagging six out of six finalists, the Royco Rewards campaign has won 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 3 Leadership awards. This is a huge achievement for us as we have not played in this award space before.

On the evening of 8 November 2018, the who’s who of South Africa’s advertising and media industry gathered at the Assegai Awards Gala Evening at The Polo Room Inanda Club Johannesburg, to celebrate the best in Direct Marketing.
Assegais does not give honours for extravagant production values, enormous budgets or big-name companies. Rather, it recognises breakthrough strategy, creative brilliance and outstanding results in all Direct Marketing media – which is what ARC is overly passionate about.
A first of its kind
The Royco Rewards program is the first single brand FMCG program in South Africa. The aim was to build a permission-based database of Royco consumers with 100 000 registrations by December 2018. We also set out to establish a database of stokvels in SA.
