King James was founded in 1998 by Alistair King and James Barty. Unlike most start-ups, they had no global partners, no international affiliates, just one small client and the belief that they could make better advertising than a great deal of the other agencies in town. Under their own steam, they grew their company one client and one staff member at a time.
King James is now a 24-year old, South African agency part of the global Accenture Song network, offering full-service communications solutions across several industries, including financial services, consumer goods, technology and media.
