We are making use of a freemium revenue model. The listing for agencies and agency suppliers is free of charge. But how do you stand out in the crowd? The who, why and how

      What is Ramify?

Ramify connects marketers to agencies, and agencies to service providers and suppliers. Create shortlists, compare agencies or suppliers, and find people you want to work with!

      What does ‘ramify’ mean?

The verb “ramify” describes something that branches off or spreads, like the new subway lines that ramify across a city and reach even the neighbourhoods farthest from the center. [Source]

For us, it means helping you grow your business and branching out by connecting partners active in advertising and marketing.

      How does it work?

Agencies and suppliers submit information into our database. Marketers and agency clients specify their partner requirements in our search function and relevant results are returned. Clients can then shortlist agencies/suppliers and pull comparative data for review.

How does the match function actually work?

Marketers choose which skill set they require (digital, PR, full-service, BTL etc.) and agencies listing that skill set on their profiles show in our search results. Marketers may then refine their search through a variety of options, for example, by specifying a BBEEE level, revenue range, experience in specific industry sectors, even network ownership (or decide to look only for independent agencies). Marketers are then able to shortlist the agencies/suppliers they prefer, based on the information contained in the individual agency profiles, and pull comparative data for reviewing and saving.

      What makes you unique?

There are databases containing this kind of agency information but they all sit behind walls. Agencies either pay to be listed (directly or indirectly — for example, through membership fees to a trade organisation) or marketers pay to access the database. Nowhere is there a comprehensive database of agencies that is freely available and accessible to both marketers and agencies, built specifically for agency search and selection.

We are disrupting these closed environments and democratising the information they contain. We believe all agencies, big and small, should be able to list their information in a central resource, and that marketers should be able to access it free of charge. It empowers both parties and grows the industry.

How does a professional pitch process work?

Please see our guide on pitching best practice as supplied by the ACA.

Should I make a business decision based upon the information supplied by this website?

The material on this site is provided for general information only and should neither be relied upon nor used as the sole basis for making decisions without consulting primary sources of information. We are not responsible if the information made available on this site is not accurate, complete or current. Any reliance upon the material on this site is at your own risk.

This site may contain certain historical information. Historical information, necessarily, is not current and is provided for your reference only.

Are you trying to displace pitch consultants? [We get asked this one a lot!]

Ramify.biz is not designed to replace pitch consultants. But we now allow marketers an alternative to what is often an expensive and time-consuming process. Especially smaller and mid-sized brands — or larger brands with very hands-on marketing execs — will benefit from using the service.

It might even impact on how procurement handles pitches; instead of very broad requests of interest, marketers may now submit a precompiled shortlist to their procurement departments to kick off the process.

We believe that Ramify.biz will evolve into a critical business-acquisition tool for ad agencies and also allow them to inform the market as they expand their own service portfolios.
