This privacy policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of your information when you use the service and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We use your personal data to provide and improve the service. By using the service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this privacy policy.

Ramify.biz is an opt-in directory and press office service. By submitting your company profile to this service you agree for us to make available to our audience such data as you submit in the building of your company profile, and such contact information as you voluntarily  made available for this express purpose during the submission process to this directory.

We do not process data for marketing purposes.
We do not sell data to third party services.

We de-identify data to offer us and our commercial partners broad demographics that allows us to build a general profile of our readership so we can sell advertising and sponsorships embedded into the body of our content, and which is clearly identified as such.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments/Contact forms

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments/contact form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We retain a unsubscribe list indefinately. If you subscribed to our service, but did not confirm your address through our double opt-in programme, your account and all accompanying details are deleted after two weeks.

COPPA (Children Online Privacy Protection Act)

When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. We do not specifically market to children under the age of 13 years old.

  • Users can visit our site anonymously (you may not be able to use our services, if it sits behind our paywall).
